Directed by MCG
Starring CHRISTIAN BALE, SAM WORTHINGTON,
BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD, and MOON BLOODGOLD
However, Sam Worthington is really worth seeing. His performance is subtle and not over-acted. I particularly enjoyed his scenes with Helen Bonham-Carter. There is also an Arnold-cameo. Not really--Arnold's face is super-imposed on a terminator toward the end of the film. That was a treat. There were some additional "homages" throughout the film to the original terminator film.
Overall, the film was rather simplistic in terminator standards. The storyline was not as interesting as the first two films, or even the third film. One could definitely tell that McG is a former music-video director. That being said, I think it's worth a look-see. It's not in the same league as 'Star Trek,' but it's still fun to watch.
TWO -1/2 STARS OUT OF FIVE
My main disappointment is the cancellation of the Sarah Connor Chronicles!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!
