Up and Away

This is the feel good movie of the year and one of my all time favorite cartoons. I'm not into animation of any kind, but this was a special movie and oh so sweet. Perhaps it was the slight sci-fi aspect to the film. Perhaps it was the talking dogs. I don't know but this is a great movie for the whole family. Ed Asner and Christopher Plummer star in this epic tale of adventure, discovery, of loss, and of love. Everyone will love this film, adults, kids, and especially dog lovers.

Edit: Went to Dragon Con in 2010 and couldn't help but take a picture of this costume.

    I loved Up. It gets one of my few five star ratings. The aging sequence at the beginning of the film may be the best thing I have ever seen in an animated movie.
