Doctor Who - Fall Preview!

The Doctor Who Fall preview is here and it looks like a million bucks: weeping angels, Cybermen, River Song, Amy as a samurai, etc.  I can't wait for the good Doctor's return.  The remaining episodes of Season 6 return August 27th.  Another piece of great news--Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have signed on for the 7th season.

    Never seen this show. Haven't seen a lot of shows, because I don't have a TV. But this one seems a little more on the intellectual side, which is good.

    @Sinclair-- Weeping angels makes every show better.

    @movie68-- I think you'd like it. You can start w/ Season 2.

    @Elliot-- It is very intellectual. Some of the best television I've ever seen...period...has been doctor who. It's not the drivel that usually passes for tv these days.

    Also it's something that hollywood cannot remake. Yay!

    @Angry Lurker-- I really like the new guy. I think he's great. I was worried at first, but exceeded all of my expectations. The graet thing about Dr. Who is that it's not just about the actor, it's about the franchise.

    I also shouldn't have been worried. They do so well w/ the casting.

    There have been so many covers of Dr. who, but it's managed to become so under rated and under valued. I wish it were more popular/

    @ghostman49.5-- I completely agree. It's so underrated and it's such a great show. Thankfully, it's gaining popularity in the states.
