Will NOT Be Reviewing Twilight: Breaking Dawn Unless Under Duress

My opinion of the Twilight saga, including the most recent installment, Breaking Dawn - Part 1, can be summed up by one of my favorite authors, Anne Rice.
"Lestat and Louie feel sorry for vampires that sparkle in the sun. They would never hurt immortals who choose to spend eternity going to high school over and over again in a small town-- anymore than they would hurt the physically disabled or the mentally challenged. My vampires possess gravitas. They can afford to be merciful."

Buffy: No man is worth your life. Bella: I will jump off a cliff for you.

I have a reputation to keep. No hard core science fiction fan would review this film and maintain their dignity, IMHO. If you're a fan, I'm sorry to offend. I'm sure it has some redeemable qualities that I'm unaware of, but if you have a Twilight tattoo, camp out for midnight tickets, or have a wall decal in your bedroom, then someone needs to talk you away from the ledge. However, as a hard core fan of certain things myself, you have my begrudging respect. Because if you're going to go for it, you may as well go all the way.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1
opens in theaters nationwide on November 18th.

  2. Quella nella foto della camera sembra la sagoma del "fantasma" di "3 Men and a Baby"! :D

  4. That tattoo is amazing work, but really??? That's a lifetime commitment and to have those people on my back until I die? Wow. There aren't words.

    will you think less of me if I go to see it? It's Girlz Night out and we're hanging tough even though the movies have been terrible. Even so, I am glad that I grew up with Buffy and not Bella.

  6. @Alex-- Ha, sometimes money is not enough!

    @R-- Thanks!

    @occhio sulle espressioni- Confronto molto buona. Quella stanza sembra un sacco di cose diverse:)

    @Subradar- Ha, I'm trying to spare everyone the review.

    @Jennie-- Ha, no I won't think less of you. There are a lot of things that I like that other people don't like. My sister is a huge Twilight fan. She wouldn't get a tattoo, but she would totally be in the tent city.

    @Melissa-- I really liked what Anne Rice had to say as well. She holds court on facebook.

  10. A-- Yep, I'm going to have to pass this on to another reviewer. I just can't bear it.

    Orang3-- Ha, a total double standard! Following you now too.

    Angry Lurker-- Ha, true. But then I wonder about how people view me when I go to science fiction conventions like Dragon Con.

  11. Go to Youtube and look up "Buffy vs. Edward". It's one person's wish on what should happen to him. It's kind of funny.
